King's private apartment

| In 1769 Louis XV
created this Room by joining the large drawing Room to one of Madame Adélaïde's
antechambers. Until 1789, the King's suppers were served here. Every Christmas Louis XVI
organized here of the most beautiful pieces of porcelain produced by the Sèvres factory
in the course of the current year. The Room hence the name "Porcelain Room".
